Cisco
In 1984 Cisco was founded by a group of scientists from Stanford University. Cisco hardware, software, and services are used to create Internet solutions. The company’s aim is to provide networking for the internet that allows individuals, companies, and countries to increase productivity.
In the 2009 VMworld awards, Cisco's Unified Computing System won the gold award in Hardware for Virtualisation.
John Chambers is currently the Chairman and CEO of Cisco working in the Californian based headquarters.
