Garry Sheriff walks 13 mile for charity

Business took a back seat for MD Garry Sheriff on Tuesday 18th May when he and GAC Shipping IT Manager Hans Barto joined forces with 4 others to take on a challenging 13 mile walk for charity. From the 16th to the 23rd May and a total of 100 miles later, a group of dedicated and undoubtedly fit participants embarked on a real challenge all in aid of the organisations which serve and support the seafarers on the Tees River. Having worked all of his life in the shipping industry, Hans feels its his way of giving back to a cause that has supported the backbone of his career.  ITPS has been a supporter for many years but this year Garry took part in the 13 mile Walk from Middleton to Teesdale and as a natural runner, found the biggest challenge was to keep to an easy pace with the rest of the group. The day was only made better by the glorious sunshine and fantastic scenery throughout.  See for yourself
